A: You will need the following to complete your kit:
Donor vehicle or chassis: Any 1984 - 1988 Pontiac Fiero
Front windshield: 1994 Honda Accord 4 door. You would take this windshield to a glass shop along with a tracing of the windshield opening of your kit and the glass shop would cut and grind it into the correct shape for your kit.
Headlights: 1990-1996 Nissan 300 ZX
Taillights: 1984-1990 Chevrolet Corvette C4
Taillights: Optional Susquehanna Hella
Front 6.0 turn signals: Lamborghini OEM or 1987-96 Chevrolet Corsica
Indicator lights: Lamborghini OEM or 84-86 Nissan marker lights
Fog lights: Chevrolet Camaro
Door windows, rear quarter windows and rear windshield: Plexiglas is recommended for the doors, rear quarter windows (behind the doors) and the rear windshield. Some customers are experimenting with creating operational door windows. If this is something you would like, you will most likely be able to accomplish it. You will need to custom fabricate your own design. Example The beauty of building your own car is that you can make it exactly how you want, however, our doors are set up for non-operational windows.

Door locks: From 1973-1985 Mercedes.
Gas springs for Doors: Length = 19.4" Lift pressure = 120 lbs.
Gas spring for trunk: Length = 26.6" Lift pressure = 85.8 lbs.
Hinges for the hood and trunk: Will be recycled from your donor Fiero.
Hinges for the doors: These need to be specially made at a machine shop and are essentially cylinders that are 5" long and 1" wide. You would weld one end of the cylinder to the arm of your door and the other side to a flat bolt plate which you would then bolt to the interior of your door jam. (Check our link for hinges manufactured)

Q: Is there a specific Pontiac Fiero that is required?
A: There is not any specific year that you have to use. Any 1984 to 1988 Fiero will work, although most prefer to use
the 1988 Fiero GT because it had an improved V6 engine and suspension set up.
Q: How much will I need to modify the Fiero chassis?
A: Depending on technique used, we have individuals that chop both front and rear off the Fiero and install new tubular nose and tail assemblies, and we have others that prefer to modify the existing tubing.
